what it does:
the script takes the selected objects and blows them up with a detonation.
the detonation starts at the documents zeropoint and can be adjusted by
moving that point or the selected vectors around.

how to use:
select a few objects or several or also quite a lot and press the
play button. a dialog will open with some options to tweak the result.
tweak them and hit "lets boom!!!"

if the objects don't explode, they're most likely still a group.
ungroup them! use free objects, free the objects!! freedom for objects!!
down wif teh grups!!!

the detonation uses four "circles" to create the explosion.
they can be modified in the script options to achieve different looks.
try out different values and different selected objects.
also don't forget to play with the scale of the selected objects
in relation to the document size.

notes:
great things come from explosions.
but also great evil, so choose your objects wisely!

todo:
use pathfinder to make a splitter-mode. heelp needed ->

When it's finished and I click on the 'close' button of the script, it shuts down my whole illustrator.

any idea what that can be?

this problem is not only a 'fadenGrady' problem, it seems to be a basic scriptographer problem. all(? at least most,) scripts with custom dialogs make illustrator crash if u close them...

(I don't speak english but i'll try. Sorry and thanks for the answer)

The numbers that are used in the dialog box... I can't understand them very well.

The numbers are metter units like a milimeters, inches, or ... Jmmm?
The percentaje is about what... Document size, object size, selection size...

Running CS3, WinXP; ungrouped them, placed at zero point, "Let's Boom!" with default, nothing.

I've tried several different ways of doing this.

...sucks... Looks so cool too.

just to complete the list, the objects have to be selected aswell...

- take some objects
- place them near zero-point (usually left-bottom corner of the document)
- make sure they're not grouped
- make sure they're selected
- press let's boom

if thins is not working, chech the scriptographer-console output, and if there is some text, please post it here.
