Scriptographer will be featured in the exhebition "Generator.x" ( http://www.generatorx.no ) on one big poster, and I'm thinking of doing a layout showing the interface and some nice examples of use, so if you want to take the chance and maybe end up in the exhebition please submit your favourite examples of things you did with Scriptographer until the end of this week. Of course full credits will be given!

The show is open 23 September - 16 October in the National Museum in Oslo.

It would be great to have the new version + site online until then too.

Now that's a deadline!

Submission go to: sg@scriptographer.com

i don't think its a poster, that was created by scriptographer, the technic, seems quite
easy,1) its a outline text in illustrator, after creating outlines and object/expand, after choosing
each line of the paragraph seperately, ungroup it and in pathfinder clicks tha add to shape area, and use a gradient,
i think the line that connects all letters is used with same technik but in another layer above, beacuse if all was one, that gradient couldn't succed to make it, thats my guess :)

* if u did it in another way, im anxious to see it, it seems interesting
its a nice poster though :)

very nice! and i remember that you already showed it to me some time ago. it's a pity that i forgot to include it on the poster.

i think it's really time for a site where we keep all these things together...

It was created in scriptographer.

I designed the font on graph paper, and worked out the vectorial co-ordinates by hand, then keyed those into scriptographer. It was an arduous process! Then you simply type in the string you want to appear, along with size details and the graphic is generated with semi-randomly chosen colours. The gradient follows the text lines purely. It is not just a left to right gradient etc.

I like those exclamationmark period. very nice.

I would be happy to host a selection of peoples work done with scriptographer on my online gallery site, n-fold. www.petitesono.com it has been a while since i have updated that site and it would be nice to have some new material.
if anyone is interested feel free to email me. nathan (at) petitesono (dot) com. depending on how many people are interested i could set up a rotating scriptographer gallery which shows a few peoples work each month.
